Bridget's work is rooted in nature and landscape-shaped by daily walks on Exmoor and along the North Devon coast, the influence of gardens both her own and  and those further afield, and  a lifelong love of painting and drawing en plein air.
Studies begun from direct observation are pushed, in the studio, toward abstraction evoking the feeling of a place rather than it's literal likeness.
She works across oil, print, pastel, gouache and glass, in all moving between botanical precision and looser, abstracted form.
